Plusieurs années déjà que je suis rentrée d’Inde pour reprendre pied en Europe, à Munich, mon « camp de base ».
Mais l’Inde, où je suis retournée 2 fois, ne cesse d’inspirer ma peinture et le lien reste fort avec mes enfants des rues de Salaam Baalak Trust.
Depuis, j’ai souvent été « unterwegs » , en route… C’est le titre de ma dernière exposition à l’Institut français de Munich au printemps 2017 : une fenêtre s’ouvre sur le large, au fond sur l’horizon: une voile…
Il y a eu quelques mois de bénévolat (et de voyage!) en Équateur, dans la grande forêt … et surtout des expéditions en Antarctique à bord de « Golden Fleece », le bateau d’un ami d’enfance.
Tous ces lieux inspirent ma peinture; ils impriment des images très fortes dans ma tête… où cependant la présence de l’Afrique où j’ai vécu il y a bien longtemps reste toujours prégnante.
